Zone Leader Council...October 2012

Getting the Leadership of the Poland Warsaw Mission together is always uplifting. This has been an interesting transfer with so many new missionaries in the field.  Our Zone Leaders have been training, and the mission has been limited to one Zone Leader in each Zone.  (LtoR): Elders Basha and Jensen (Assistants), Elder Pofelski (Warsaw Zone Leader), Elder Vreeken (Katowice Zone Leader) and Elder Gladun (Bydgoszcz Zone Leader).
Busy as they were, there is always time for lunch. It keeps everyone happy!  Today, however, was a special day at the Mission Office.  Sister Peck presented....
...Elder Hayes, one of our great Office Elders, with a surprise.  It was his birthday!
Hummmm...doesn't look like he's eager to share!  That's ok....even though Elder Hayes seems 'protective' of his birthday cake, there was plenty of cake for the other missionaries in the other room.  Elder Dopp (right) feels pretty confident that Elder Hayes will share with him.  That's what companions do, right?
Meanwhile, another 'party' was being held in the restroom during lunch. Elder Basha is doing his best to avoid a little toe surgery and is treating his wound 3X's a day.  Don't worry mom, it's all under doctor's orders!  He's going to live!
Isn't life fabulous on a mission !  It was a great day with these Mission Leaders as we set goals and made plans to assist investigators progress towards the waters of Baptism.
