Warsaw I Branch Christmas Party...Dec. 8, 2012

Christmas time means Branch social time.  The first one we have attended this year was The Warsaw I Branch Christmas Party.  There was lots of delicious food....
...and lots of visiting going on.
As you can see, the cultural hall was filled with tables full of family and friends (new and old)...
...who were also enjoying themselves visiting.
The Warsaw I Branch is one of the original Branches of the Church in Poland.  Many of it's members joined the Church years ago.
Sitting with some good friends in the Branch: Sara, Iwona and Beata
As people were finishing eating, it was time for a little entertainment.
First the Missionaries of the Warsaw I Branch sang some Christmas songs in English and Polish. Sisters Sheahan and Packard, Elders Cieslak, Baranowski, Manwill, Hooker, Saltmarsh and Dopp.   This was followed by some great Polish Christmas favorites sung by the congregation.
As the room filled with great Traditional Polish Christmas Carols, Ania was playing "Mikolaj" (Santa) and was delivering wrapped gifts to all the children who had come.

There were all ages at this Branch party. The teenagers and older(!) had a great time at the party....
...while some of the younger kids enjoyed themselves playing badminton in the foyer...(because the cultural hall was FULL of people!)
And some just wanted to CHILL!  It was wonderful to mingle and visit with the members of this great Branch. Merry Christmas to you all! Thank you for all you do to build the church in Warsaw. We love you!
