Our semi-annual Mission Presidents Seminar was held in Frankfurt Germany this past week. Two great highlights (the entire week was a highlight) were attending the Frankfurt Temple and being with Elder Jeffrey R. Holland for two days. It doesn't get any better than this!
We were in the MTC at our new mission presidents seminar (in June of 2010) with these leaders. President and Sister Wolfgram (Italy Milan Mission), President and Sister Irwin (Czech Slovakia Mission), President and Sister Kelly (Italy Rome Mission) and President and Sister Lindley (England Leeds Mission). This was our MTC group, and we love them. We all could share stories of so many great and wonderful events we have experienced over the past 31 months.
We also were able to visit with President and Sister Keith Edwards, the new MTC president in England. He was just released as a General Authority. This is a great couple. They have valiantly served the Lord in many capacities around the world. President Edwards was our Stake President in Las Vegas when we moved there some 24 years ago. That seems like yesterday. Sister Nielson and Sister Edwards worked at the Las Vegas Temple together and became great friends there. It was good to see them.
It truly was a wonderful Seminar....giving us just the boost to return to our Mission and sprint to the end!
