BBQ at the Mission Home!

In between Zone Conferences we had a few new members who had moved from America over for a BBQ. There are great families moving here for work and schooling. Above we are enjoying the weather and the company.
Everyone is gathering and we haven't had this many children in the mission home --ever!
Hamburgers, corn-on-the-cob, chips, watermelon.....a traditional American BBQ!

When dessert time rolled around, however, we moved into the house. We enjoyed Sister Staples homemade cinnamon rolls....mosquito-free!

We'd like to introduce you to these new families that have come to Poland.

The Wood family. They are here for 5 months and Nathan served a mission in Poland a several years ago.
The Staples family from Virgina. They will be in Warsaw for another 22 months.
The Mechams are from one of our favorite places...Mesa, Arizona...the 15th ward (now it's called something else) which was the ward President Nielson grew up in. They know our Uncle Lars and Aunt Elberta very well (We love them). They will be living in Lublin.

A BIG WELCOME to Poland to all these great families! We thank you in advance for all you will add to the church here in Poland.....and for the big increase in our Primary attendance!

  1. Thank you so much for the wonderful dinner and chance to socialize with other Americans. It was so fun. I sent the link to your blog to my family so they wouldn't be so worried about us over here! We would love to have you over for lunch on the Sunday that you come to our branch, if that is at all possible in your schedule. You could let me know by email (erinnate@gmail.com) or by phone.
