District Meeting....Warsaw I (with a visit to Warsaw II) July 19, 2011

Tuesday morning....we are back in Warsaw and are trying to get to the Warsaw I District Meeting. President remembers he needs to see a few Elders that will be attending the Warsaw II District Meeting, so we head to the chapel on Wiktorska. The following are missionaries that we don't see often OR have just been transferred into Warsaw. (I thought their mothers would like to see them and know that they are well, happy and working hard!)
Elder Basha and Elder Plumb....just arrived from Lublin where they are serving to attend the Warsaw II District Meeting. Elder Basha is doing great and his language is amazing. Elder Plumb is the Branch President and aways ready to assist anyone in any way.
Elder Hooker (who has been in Warsaw for awhile) just received a new Senior companion, Elder Davis. Elder Hooker is not afraid to speak to anyone, anywhere. Elder Davis is the District Leader in Warsaw ll. Elder Davis is one of those leaders that will do what you ask and leads by example. Both hard working and anxious to baptize their investigators.
And Sister Bailey, who has also served in Warsaw for several months is now serving with Sister Jones. These are just happy Sisters that work as hard as anyone in the mission.
Now quickly over to the Warsaw l District Meeting....
Arriving at the Wolska chapel, we find this great District waiting to be enlightened by their District Leader. (Back Row L to R): Elders Myler and Vreeken (Warsaw), Elders Smith and Waits (Bialystok), Elder Kennedy (Zone Leader) on an exchange with elder Berry (Lodz). (Front Row L to R): Sister Briggs (Family History Center) and Sisters Mann and Ellis (Warsaw).
Elders Myler and Vreeken go over the training and also some of the new Language lessons we have begun. This was a great District Meeting and afterwards everyone quickly headed out in different directions to proselyte and find interested people. These are energetic and great missionaries. They are ready to find, teach and bring Souls unto Christ. You attend these meetings and you see what a mission does for young people. I am so glad they all made the choice to serve a mission. What a Blessing!!!!

  1. The poster you saw in the rear window of a car is for a couple of comedians who do cabaret-style satires, often with orchestral accompaniment. W. Whipple
