A 'Typical' Day at the Mission Home (when we're in town)

Here Dominik is giving us a Polish lesson. He is a great young man, convert of more than a year and preparing to go on a mission soon. He is showing two words that we cannot mix up- prawdopodobnie and zadoscuczynie. One is "probably" the other "resurrection". The kind of stuff we always say wrong and people look at us weird. Oh yes, the hour glass. We have to use it to keep on schedule, Dominik would have us go on all night (because we need it) but we have many other things that need our attention. Usually around 17:00 (5:00pm) President's day gets going again. Salt Lake is awake then (9:00am MST) and all the questions and events start.
This is Czarek Gladun, President just interviewed him for his mission and his papers are ready for submission. Elders Stohel, Darowski, Lewis, Torke and Attebery came by to let him know this is the greatest thing he could do. He had his Polish 'Preach My Gospel' and President had his Missionary Handbook.
Following a Zone Leaders Council, we went downstairs (where the Elders always stay for the night) and caught them taking a break!
Also downstairs is the pantry where I keep my "American Stash". I caught Elders Davis, Plumb, Tribe and Stohel trying to sneak some out of the Mission Home. Nice try, Elders!

  1. I love your American stash! I love reading about what you do each day! It's so interesting.

  2. I'm wondering what the hour glass is for in the first picture :-)
