October 15, 2010- Another Historical Day- Mission Office moving- 135 Wiertnicza in Wilanow.

We finalized the lease for the new location of the Mission Office. Today we received the keys, had a final walk through and began changing the locks, meters and preparing for the big move. Our office space is all of the 2nd floor (in Poland that is the 1st floor- they call the ground floor "0" and count upwards).

The drive across town to the current Mission Office is between 50 minutes and 1 1/2 hours, one way, depending on the Warsaw traffic, which can be brutal. The new Mission Office is .5 miles (.8 kilometers) from the Mission Home. We cannot wait. Perhaps only the Engbjergs have a true appreciation as to what this means for us.
We can't wait to move here and go to the office like normal people and not have to live in our car.
The final acceptance and let's go------
A big thanks to Brother Jarosz, who handles all our apartments and "projects" and keeps the mission going. He is great to work with. He is making sure that things are in order before we start moving in (which should be around November 8-15). Bartek, who just got home from the London South Mission, helped with the translation.
Now this is exactly why you buy SHUTTERS to begin with. Somebody went the less expensive route, and now its falling apart. If they had Polywood Shutters from Sunburst Shutters, these windows would be beautiful and would last forever......... this is for another day and time in our life. Now, back to missionary work and the great privilege it is to be here in Poland. (They could really use shutters in Poland.)
