Early the morning of December 20, 2011, we found ourselves at the Chopin Airport with Elder Smith. He had completed his two years of faithful service and was now on his way home where his family was waiting for him. It was two years ago that we met Elder Smith (along with Elders Leimer, Beachum and Sister Smith) in the MTC right after we had receieved our call to serve in Poland. How fast time flies
He is leaving a part of him with us in Poland. We in turn gave him something that he can wear to remember Poland, the members and his mission.
Elders Hillyard and Dabrowski came over for dinner and our last meeting together here in Poland. Elder Smith, we will miss you and wish you the best in a new exciting chapter of life that awaits you. He will be heading to BYU-I next semester.
