The lights in the kitchen were on; and as I came around the corner, I saw these two familiar faces.
President Nielson had me out running errands while the Assistants snuck over and fixed dinner. It was Elder Myler's famous, delicious Taco Soup. It smelled wonderful, and everything was ready. I was really quite shocked. This was their gift to me. They had been asking me for sometime what my favoite food was. I could never give them an answer so they decided on this... which was perfect!
The table was set, and everything was ready. What a nice surprise to come home to. This was a very thoughtful gift to me from two special missionaries. (I think they were afraid to use my Polish Pottery, but it was perfect nevertheless.)
All President and I had to do was sit down and eat. How great is that? They even did the dishes afterwards and cleaned up. What a great day. Their mothers should be proud of them. They were taught well and knew exactly how to do something special. They cleaned up and still made it out in time to contact and teach a lesson. Great missionaries and great deeds! What could be better than today? The icing on the cake was two investigators from Kielce and Lodz set dates for baptism also. Being on a mission is a wonderful blessing and privilege. This was a day I will always remember.
What sweet elders! I hope my sons will be that thoughtful! Our Mitchell turned his papers in today! We are excited to find out where he will go.
