The Family History Center is improving daily!
The NEW entrance to the Family History Center located in the Wolska Chapel. Standing in front of it are some of the great volunteers who keep this Center going. (L to R): Magda, Sylwia, Monika, Wojtek and Godfrey.Since the Family History Center is manned by the members now, the entrance needed to be changed. The Center was in the back of the building and occasionally people would walk in and the members in the back weren't aware of who was in the building. This was also a little worrisome in the winter when the sun sets at 3:30pm. So ...the entrance was moved to the side of the front door and the Center was moved to where the Primary Room once was. (The Primary room is now the old FHC) Now people can enter the Family History Center without going all through the building. It works great for everyone! But before the move was completed, there were a few rooms that needed to be painted. Our trusty Brethren in the Warsaw I Branch came to the rescue. Krsystof and Rafal spent the entire day helping. These are great men and like so many others assist in so many ways.Thank you, members of the Church in in Warsaw, for 'stepping up' and helping to make this great service and potential missionary tool possible. Seeking out our family histories is what Mormons like to do. It's great to know where you came from....After all, we are fulfilling prophecy: "And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers." Malachi 4:6
Nice to see these improvements. I wish you much success with your Family History efforts.
