A wonderful baptism in Lodz is special to the Church throughout all of Poland.

A wonderful event happened Saturday night in Lodz... The missionaries have been praying for a family to teach. Their prayers were answered in Lodz. A great family was taught the gospel and wanted to follow the example of Christ.

We started out at the Lodz chapel where great talks were given by Dominika and Hubert. Then it was off to the pool for the baptism!

 The procession headed to the pool. It was a little chilly, but no one seemed to care...everyone was just excited!

After several blocks, we finally reached the pool, entered......and guess what?

Camera problems!!!! The contrast of the coldness of the air outside and the warmth and humidity of the air in the building brought on some mechanical problems....a foggy lens!

Probem fixed! The beautiful pool where the baptisms would be performed in.

As the family was changing into their baptismal clothes, many friends and branch members were anxiously waiting.

Here they are pictured with Elder Augustyn who baptized the boys, Dawid and Patryk; and Krysytof who baptized the parents, Tomek and Joana. This is a Celestial Picture. There is nothing as wonderful as a baptism. It excites a branch, the mission, all the members and brings us back to why we are here and what the Savior did for us and continues to do for us. This picture reminded me of heaven. I decided to put away my camera and enjoy this most special moment...and I did.
