Last week we received our first group from the MTC. Everyone was accounted for except Elder Ball...he had to stay behind for a week as he was recovering from pneumonia. He finally made it to Poland. After a quick dinner in the mission home with the Assistants and Office Elders, he was whisked off to Poznan to meet his Trainer, Elder Contor. He was one tired missionary when he arrived. He had a 3 hour layover in Chicago and 7 hours in London. However, he placed 5 copies of the Book of Mormon while waiting. Welcome Elder Ball!
Elder Ball, glad to see you finally made it to Poland:) 5 Book of Mormons just getting into the mission field, that is awesome. I know you are going to bless so many families and individuals, including yourself and your family for your devotion to our Lord. I can tell by your smile that nothing is going to slow you down, the people of Poland better get ready!! We are proud of you and wish you the best while serving over there. What a great example you are to us all, and the man you will become!!!!

P.S. Thank you President and Sister Nielson for creating this blog. What a wonderful idea.
Woo Hoo! Elder Ball finally made it!
ReplyDeleteI know he will bless the people of Poland, and many people that he comes in contact with will bless his life! We are excited to see what the next two years hold for this Elder and those who serve around him.
Know that all who serve in the mission field are always in our fasts and prayers.
